Technical Advancements in Experimental Rock Deformation for SZ4D
Plan to attend this in-person workshop to develop a community plan for developing experimental rock deformation technical capabilities for subduction zone research. We hope for participation from all disciplines that collect or use experimental data in their subduction-related research.
The application for this in-person workshop is now closed. Applicants will be notified of the results by the end of June.
This one-day workshop will take place at the Embassy Suites at the Jetport in Portland Maine immediately following the GRC on Rock Deformation. Participants can take the bus offered by the GRC to the Portland Jetport for the start of this workshop at 12pm on August 12. The workshop will end at 12 pm on Saturday August 13. All workshop fees, meals, and accommodations for the night of August 12 will be covered by NSF funding to SZ4D.
